Bidrage med feedbackI have eaten with my mother and daughter at the Prairie Inn the other day and have never experienced such a terrible service. At first everything seemed fine until we waited an hour for our food. When we were like the only people there, we thought it was a short stop, not the case. I ordered a Philly Steak sandwich and the salad bar, my mother ordered the Hamburger Steak breakfast and I ordered frits and 1 chicken strips for my daughter. The salad bar was medium to say the least. The salad was old and brown and hot item was at least 2 hours old. Finally, when our food arrived, the only decent thing was my daughters food, the precooked deep roasted frits and 1 chicken strip. My sandwich had vegetables only on one side, and the meat tasted a little funny, so I didn't even eat the other half. My mother took two bites from her hamburger steak and couldn't eat anymore because it was so acidic tasting. In addition to the burning of eggs and ash-browns were edible to eat them. After we were finished, she told the waitress that the burger pampered and asked if she could pick up the burger from our check, and we were flat to ate it. How in the world should she know it tastes terrible unless she had a bite? From then on, the cook actually stood on the kitchen and shined at us until we were gone. The girl who hired us didn't even recognize us and literally threw my mother's change on the counter. Oh, and I forgot it was obviously a very unprofessional environment with which the waitress spoke loudly about the fact that family members are in jail and have retention orders. Once again the absolute worst culinary experience I ever had!!!! Terrible food and service!!
I stopped at this restaurant for about a year since I started having good food and good people... I was there three times... the first, I was ignored for an hour and went without food or time to stop... the second I was fed... today March 9, 2012, I stopped when I arrived, it was practically empty, had three clean tables all over the place, the two young waiters, where sitting on the counter with their phones, one of which fell the f-word like a longshoreman. When a customer sat on a dirty table in her section, she was told about the other waitress. After she rolled her eyes, she went a few steps, Bach went to show her boyfriend something on her phone, then she went to the order... When she came to her order, she informed our waitress that she had neglected to put in our order... OMG... there are three tables from Diners... I saw how she gave the diner next to us her bill... she didn't take her empty plates, although she tried to read her papers a t a two-seater... when I came into the money... the other lady had left her payment because she didn't get any attention... the waitress thought it was my payment and asked if I wanted a reception... if I informed her that it wasn't my bill or my money, she asked me to eat. I paid and left...no tip, zero, nada... I never do that, but. I'll never stop there again and advise all truckers to stop at Jamestown or Minot, or Harvey...

During my recent visit, we walked over to the restaurant from our hotel. The restaurant was clean, and the staff greeted us promptly. We found a comfortable booth for our group of six, and the waitress provided helpful and prompt service. The food was delicious, with my favorite being the pancakes, and the prices were reasonable, usually costing around $25 for two meals, two drinks, an appetizer, and a kid's meal. The service was decent, but depending on the waitress, you may need to ask for refills.
