Bidrage med feedbackWe went to look for this place based on some reviews we read, it was already around 9 pm when we found it. The place looked closed. Decided to go see inside and we where pleasantly welcomed. The owner immediatly switched on the lights in the dining room and gave the chef a wake up call : The menu was in Italian only and the owner did not speak english, so the chef came to explain the menu. Both starters and mains where very good in taste and preparation. Together with a nice wine, water and coffee we had a very good dinner. All in all a place that you should visit when going around in this region!
The menu here has all the local Piacentine specialities but lots of other dishes too, and twists on local dishes, like pisarei without tomatoes, as people used to eat it in medieval times (which is delicious). I had spaghetti with chilli, garlic, parsley and tuna, which was al dente and very tasty. The local specialities are as good as anywhere, but this is definitely somewhere to go if you want to try something different. And the staff are very attentive and helpful. Very hard to find fault.
Liked the fact that it has a large outside terrace facing fields. Staff was very friendly and food very tasty. I had starter, main course, desser, 2 glasses of red wine and bottle of water and spent 44 euros which I thought was good value for money.
Domenica metà maggio a pranzo con gli amici. Siamo stati ospitati nel giardino estivo: molti alberi che hanno fatto ombre e una bella brezza. Ordiniamo immediatamente 3 antipasti misti e un flan di porcini e spinaci sulla fonduta di pomace. Grande, soprattutto il tortino. Continuiamo con ravioli ripieni di basilico saltato con pancetta e cipolla e mezzomarrone ripieno di merluzzo cotto su salsa di grana. Tutto fantastico. Il taglio di manzo non piaceva perché era troppo grasso. Semifreddo con pistacchio e cioccolato e infine due buone bottiglie: spumante gutturnio perini e perini e poi spumante gutturnio Montesissa. Totale importo 150,00€. Niente da dire. POT molto bello, buon cibo, porzioni buone e porta/call capace e presente.
