The Taco Factory - Carmi

Food was not very good at all. I was told the owner had went to Taco Tierra in Mt Carmel to try and copy them she did a horrible job. I will never eat there again or recommend it. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20

First time the woman at the counter was very helpful because we had many questions food was also delicious overall great place to eat!

This was my first time trying this place and I wasn’t much of a fan. I got a large enchilada hoping for something more authentic but it was the opposite. Also my brother got a burrito and there was lettuce in it lol I’ve never seen a burrito with lettuce. If you’re craving real authentic Mexican style dishes this is not the place for you.

Opened almost a year ago before but there must not be many Yelpers in Carmi! Food was delicious! Nacho cheese is a bit spicy, which I liked. Came on a Tuesday and loved the shrimp taco! Happy to have Diet Mt. Dew as well. Staff was friendly and made the food super fast. It's just off the main strip so it's not super visible but if you want good tacos, this is where to come. Piggy back tacos are hard and soft shell with refried beans in between but they will use nacho cheese instead or half and half. Fair notice that I know the owner. We stopped in on our way through town meeting up with some family for lunch. I wouldn't have gone through the trouble, though, if the food wasn't good. My wife is in fact a bit irritated because she wants to hit the road and head home but I'm taking all these photos. Enjoy, fellow yelpers!
