Thursday, 09/30/21 was our second time in Goode Kitchen and Cantina in 3 weeks. Our second visit confirmed the first; we LOVE it! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the service is amazing and the food is really delicious. In particular, Miguel, who was our server (and food and cocktail guide) both visits is a real professional. He is charming and his knowledge about the food and drink menu is wonderful. We lied to his suggestions and are delighted. These photos show the Nacho appetizer and Carnitas meal.

Great experience, ambience food! Wanted to take the family from the state to try tex-mex food, and that was absolutely the right place. The place was beautiful and modern and has a cute terrace perfect for a autumn night. Your hours vary by day, so make sure to check online before you go. We went the day before Thanksgiving, expected a long wait, but we just had to wait for a few minutes. Directly away you are greeted with huge baskets of tortilla chips / totadas / totopos and an amazing tasting salsa. The salsa was not sharp at all and I would say it is child-friendly. The menu was simple, but had a variety to choose from meat to seafood it had something for everyone. Most plates come with beans and Spanish rice. I finished the order from the Appetizer menu, which was more than enough for a person. I'll say... This is not an authentic Mexican food that is this refined Tex-Mex food, so please note that most of your foods are anglicized. The servers and waiters went beyond and beyond to accompany us all, although it was later the day. I really appreciated the service and the great attitude of all those involved. Make yourself a favor and try this place the next time you have family over or need a date night

My wife was here a few times and suggested I try. There was no waiting time at 3:00. We were greeted by the hostess who set us up. Miguel, our waiter greeted us at the table. We ordered drinks and guacamole with roasted garlic, queso fresco and bacon to start. I wanted something else to inspire my palate. The description of the cooking process of the Carnitas appealed to me, so I ordered it. OMG, Goode is not the word to describe this beautifully placed creation that Miguel has set before me. The first bite of Carnitas was OMG, the best I've ever put in my mouth. Every single article that accompanied the Carnitas was just as delicious. I'm back.

Took the family here last night on a whim and we had a truly magnificent experience. The service was unbelievably quick with plainly obvious synergy between staff operating in various roles. Hands down the very best Tampiqueña plate I have ever had anywhere. Make sure you save room for a slice of Tres Leches to share for the table. It was the perfect finish. Keep it up, Goode Co!
