Donatello's - Carmel

Beautiful Italian restaurant in the heart of Carmel! Love the food and house made desserts!! Staff and owners are great!! We're going to dinning again!!

Great restaurant friendly staff. The owner waited for us. We both had the calf that it was wonderful. Great night! Would highly recommend.

The food was great, but the service was not where it should be. The waitress was short with us and a tad rude. The gentleman who helped with drinks and that was super friendly. But the main waiter needs better manorisms with their customers. Overall it was a good dinner and we will return!

After reading previous reviews about Donatellos, I was not ready to try. Because we had such a good experience, I decided to write this review. Adam was our waiter. He was attentive and helpful. The wine and the food were delicious and everyone had a great time in our party when 4!

Went for dinner and split 2 dishes and the chefs choice (side of pasta with 3 people and it was more than enough food. The homemade dressings were great and all of the pasta dishes were awesome. The chicken Marsala had a wonderful sweet glaze and the chefs choice sauce with olives, carpers and tomatoes was also VERY good. The pesto penne was Ok but kind of dry. We all really enjoyed this cute little place and the staff was very friendly! Enjoy :
