Ember Rye - Carlsbad

This place is delicious! It's so cute, small, and perfect that I almost wanted to not share this secret, but we don't gatekeep here on Yelp. We must give credit where it's due. Upon arriving, you have to expect a wait, which is a great sign. This place is busy on a weekend morning, but for good reason. The people at the door were pleasant we got seated fairly quickly for being a Saturday morning. The food was just a chef's kiss! Everything we ordered was superb, and I left with a huge smile on my face. I love finding hole-in-the-wall places that are 5/5 stars. I love this place, and I will definitely return the next time I am in the area. The food, service, and ambiance were AMAZING.

Food is always good here and I’m so happy that they use croissants as their croutons for their Caesar salad. So good!

Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. Service was excellent and so were the cocktails. Those were the two bright spots of the experience. Taste of food and quality were over-hyped. I would only recommend this place if you're on a business trip and corporate was paying for it.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary at Ember and Rye. From the cocktail the mixologist made for us at the bar, to the final bite of dessert, the event was memorable. Thank you!

Lovely patio dining overlooking the golf course. Food was amazing as was the service. Relaxed setting, the wait staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The signature drinks were fabulous, and we highly recommend trying some of them!
