Art Room at Castell Malgwyn - Cardigan

We had a Valentine's dinner at this restaurant and were impressed by the personal touch from the owners and staff. They were very attentive and the food was fantastic. We weren't surprised to hear that they had recently received the AA triple rosette award. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of West Wales. Outstanding!

The food at Castell Malgwyn was delicious, and the wine selection was lovely (though a bit pricey). The service was excellent, with the welcoming and friendly girl who served us being very professional. Our birthday celebration with four people was thoroughly enjoyable, as we indulged in a three-course (some opted for two courses) meal accompanied by white wine and coffees afterwards. We all agreed that it was a perfect evening. The restaurant had a warm and nicely decorated atmosphere, with only one other couple dining at the same time (on a Thursday night). We highly recommend Castell Malgwyn and plan on returning when we visit Wales next year. Top marks.

The food was excellently prepared and good quality. We were served promptly with smiles and courtesy. It was a lovely touch to produce a sparkly brownie at the end as we were celebrating our golden wedding. The ambience would be improved with more diners. Maybe a little expensive for the surrounding population. We had a lovely evening at Castell Malgwyn. A big thank you to all the staff.

The service at this restaurant was fantastic, despite the fact that I found two pieces of hard plastic in my main dish. The staff were extremely apologetic and assured me that I would not have to pay for the meal. However, when I received the bill, they only took off £30. This indicates poor kitchen management.

Valentine dinner genuine personal touch from the owners and employees, really attentive and eating was just fantastic. it was not surprised to hear that they were just awarded the AA-Triple rosette award. a real gem of an orte in deepest darkest west whales! excellent!
