Pedal Power Cafe - Cardiff

Found this cafe by accident, saw a sign and followed it. The cafe was very clean, very friendly lady made me an egg mayo sandwich, also had an almond slice and a cup of tea, all were delicious and reasonably priced. I sat outside where it was lovely and peaceful, with pretty flowers, you wouldn't guess you were in the middle of a big city. I will definitely go again on my cycle ride.

Brilliant on every level. A great place to go cycling, irrespective of your ability, and a lovely cafe on site too. Really friendly and helpful staff makes for a lovely atmosphere and experience.

Fantastic cafe with great cakes to choose from . On a campsite next to Cardiff Castle tucked away in the trees you wouldn't know it was there . Great for a coffee outdoors and a great little marquee area if you wanted a lunch with a group of you . Pedal Power charity is next door and taught my son to ride a bike with 3 4 sessions . The instructor Rob is so patient and really helped my son who was terrified to ride a bike due to his dyspraxia . I cannot recommend this charity enough it's brilliant place to hire a bike and ride around all the Pontcanna fields and even Taff Trail if your fit enough ! I've even hired a tandem bike which was great fun with a friend . This place is superb if you have a tent ,campervan or motorhome as it's in the centre of Cardiff and it's next to Cardiff Castle and River Taff where you can also jump on a seabus to Cardiff Bay you will throughly enjoy this place a real diamond hiding in the bushes of Cardiff City Centre

Lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor seating areas set right by the park and river, easily accessible from the Taff trail and town centre or Pontcanna. Cater for all needs- vegan, gluten-free, allergies, you name it! Fully wheelchair accessible, dog-friendly, child-friendly, disability friendly, Autism friendly, PECS friendly, cycle friendly, walker friendly. Delicious FairTrade coffee and lots of other ethical choices. Healthy options as well as delicious homemade cakes. All the proceeds go back into the attached accessible cycling charity. Lovely welcoming staff and volunteers. Highly recommend!
