Mcdonnell's - Carbondale

This is a great stop for breakfast with a very unique decor and a comfortable atmosphere. I had a western omelet that surpassed my expectations and some delicious domestic frits. The prices were very reasonable and you are not hungry. The boy even ate all his eggs, which is a rare occasion. Service was fast and friendly and overall a great experience.

Good food reasonable prices. Family environment. Would give 5 stars, but it's a hit or miss with server. Most are very friendly.

Beautiful isolated ambience.. friendly staff! Larry was our server... he had a good sense of humor and the food was really good. I was filled and had to bring the rest to eat the following day..

The food was fresh and very reasonably priced. The server was prompt and friendly. Typical diner fare, but the boneless wings were homemade! Yummy! The whole family loved it, and I loved the bill when it came, a little over 60 bucks for a family of five. Granted it could have been more if we had ordered more expensive stuff, but a great value! Lots of cool antiques on display too.
