Seven Seas Fish Bar Restaurant

We always go to this takeaway when having fish and chips in Whitstable (having tried a number of others in the past). Food fresh, delicious and customer service excellent.

Staff aren’t particularly friendly/welcoming but I’ve been back three times in the last month simply because the food was cooked fresh and it was delicious each time! Large battered sausage and medium chips is enough to feed two. I ordered large last time and barely...made a dent! Often waiting about 15 mins but worth the wait for fresh food I would say!

Went here with a friend for a takeaway fish and chips ordered a small chips and small battered sausage as we went up to the till we asked the lady behind the counter if she could change our order to a large instead of a...small (she had not prepared our Food whilst we requested this so there was no issue With us changing our order) After asking to change our order the lady behind the counter sighed obviously and very clearly rolled her eyes at me and my friend and had a negative attitude as if we were causing massive disruption! We had only asked to size up our order and her body language was disgusting!! Rolling her eyes at the customers and being very clearly RUDE! NOT IMPRESSED- ONLY GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE DISRESPECTFULLY TREATED BY THE STAFF!

Not happy with this experience at all. Terrible communication skills and ginger lady even went so far as to roll her eyes at me all because she couldn’t hear me, yet they make it so you have to order 2 metres away and wear a...mask so this attitude wasn’t fair on my behalf I feel. Over all staff had a bad attitude and was not positive at all made the place feel unwelcoming . Chips were hardly cooked and very small portions however sausage was nice at the least .

First time using Seven Seas on a recommendation from neighbour.Really glad we tried it.Fish and chips were great,light crispy batter,tasty chips.Pre ordered and then collected,efficient service.Will definitely be using again
