Eat and drink with local ales. to earth feel, clean and good service, honest approach. the steak and plowers were very nice.

A stylish feeling pub in the center of whitstable. the staff is almost uniform, but very friendly. it has a weinbar cum herrmann club vibe over and it was on the expensive side. shepherd became stock and master brew and whitstable bay pale ale the inevitable offer.

Excellent pub with very friendly, attentive staff. it looks very small from the outside, but is like the tardis when sitting with many different areas, including the public bar, restaurant area and exterior (both under deck and completely outside. the pub is very clean and the toilets are well maintained. eating was the usual pub fair, well made and presented and generously portioned. not sure they get a wheelchair through the front door, but there is access from behind, only to the garden. highly recommended.

The fish and chips are really delicious! especially the fish is very crispy and juicy. I like the sauce very, not too much mayonnaise, but very tasty. many people who can definitely be enough for a proper lunch.

Well presented pub right in Central Whitstable. Great selection of wines and beers, well presented. The staff and management were all very knowledgeable and professional. Hopefully some drinks in the garden when it's warmer.
