A&W Restaurant - Canmore

I have been a fan of A&W since my teenage years, so during our recent trip to the Canadian Rockies with my wife and daughters, we made it a point to find an A&W to enjoy one final meal before flying back home to Singapore. We had to veer off the Trans Canadian Highway to locate one in Canmore on our way to Calgary Airport. The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, the parking was convenient, and the restroom was clean. We were pleased with the quality of the Nashville Chicken sandwich and the root beer.

Its a nice location to take a stop, halfway from Calgary to Banff. We ordered a combo of sandhwich, fries a drink. It was fresh delicious. Thanks (drive-thru service restroom available) IG @jas. .pics Feb 18 2022

I went to the restaurant at 6:30 PM today and the service was exceptional! The two girls at the hostess stand were extremely polite and friendly. Despite it being busy, they were taking the time to deliver food to tables because some customers were not listening when their numbers were called. The food was fresh and I really appreciated the in-store improvements.

We decided to grab a quick breakfast at the drive-thru on a chilly morning before hitting the slopes, but unfortunately, the restaurant had experienced a power outage overnight, resulting in no heat and frozen pipes. Despite not being able to get coffee with our meal, the staff still delivered warm and welcoming service along with amazingly delicious food, all while working in bundled up and cold conditions. We were grateful for the effort they made to ensure we were able to enjoy a meal.

Drive through at 10:45 at night, close at 12. Attempts to order a Teen Burger and Poutine did not have any engraving or beef at their disposal because the grill was cleaned and the gravitation tank/criter was cleaned. I get the employees to have to clean at the end, but that was pretty early. The staff mentioned that only meat feed was available.
