Bidrage med feedbackStopped in here for dinner on my way home from Toronto. The workers here didn't seem to care about the long wait times. A couple of customers expressed their frustration about waiting awhile, and the staff just seemed to shrug it off. No apology, no offer to get the manager, just a blank stare and back to cooking. I've been to a Teriyaki Experience in Toronto and had my order within minutes. This place took about 12 minutes to make my food, and this was on the quick side compared to the other customers who were served (one poor lady stated she'd been waiting almost 20 minutes!).The other gripe I have is, I asked for a bottle of water with my meal, the bottle was maybe slightly cooler than room temperature. If you compare this to the bottled water sold at the convenience store within the very same ENROUTE, it was a big disappointment. The bottled water sold at the convenience store was very cold. So why they didn't chill the bottle here is a mystery. But onto the food, the food itself was actually very tasty. I got exactly what I ordered and it had nice flavour to it, the sauce complimented the beef and vegetables very well. The food is the saving grace of this review, but it took an awfully long time to make for 'fast food'. You'd expect that sort of wait time from a sit-down restaurant, but the end result was very good.Overall, an average visit, although I left somewhat disappointed by the service I received.
This is a fast food take-out or sit down franchise located in one of the ENROUTE Service Centres located along Highway 401. This particular location is in the Cambridge Service Centre. We went in thinking about a hamburger and fries at an adjacent outlet. There was quite a lineup at the burger counter but only one in line at Teriyaki Experience. After looking at the description of the "Vedge Bowl" for $7.99 we thought that this was a very nutritious choice for lunch. Mdhasan the proprietor explained the freshness and quality of the plethora of vegetables: broccoli chunks, carrot slices, onion, edame beans, and several others. These were cooked in front of us and then placed on a bed of quinoa and other tasty grains. Our topping was sweet chili. It was a very tasty experience for sure! Highly recommended for great nutritional value and absence of saturated fat and so on.There were several other varieties of dishes on the menu too.Next time I go, I will ask the vegetables to be sautéed a little longer to soften up the vegetables a little more. My wife told me hers was just fine. She prefers food cooked in the French fashion, not the English fashion.
Teriyaki experience always smells delicious when you walk past in mcmaster's student center.
Honestly the food is disgustingI've found bugs in my food here multiple timesI've tried many things on the menu and I cannot say that I enjoy it.
