Georgetown Tavern On The Hill

What a happy find. A two-day cycling adventure in the area of Cambridge I visited Georgetown Winery. Home sick from New England, now living in Ohio, I sat outside enjoying wine with a view of Cambridge, which brought back beautiful memories of New England. An absolutely wonderful view, very personable staff, great wine and a fantastic fired pizza, I must admit, the best of all was my summer love affair with Miles. The terrace was crowded, but at the moment I appeared, he discovered me and I discovered him. The sparks flew and butterflies were in my stomach. Then he came and sat next to me, looked at me and not enough, hopped on my table, laid down, and then we saw each other. A magical afternoon that ended too early. Would I visit again? Even without Miles, yes, the fire roasted pizza was absolutely delicious. And the wine that accompanied the pizza well that could ask for something better?

Beer was excellent and the pizza was very good. It offers a return trip in spring to sit on a beautiful terrace. The view of Cambridge at night was spectacular. I highly recommend it!

My sweet beautiful Betsy and I and our son Breck had dinner, wine mud and Concord red wine. Beautiful views of Cambridge and a pretty good singer and guitarist sing a variety.

I was in town visiting friends and they took me to Georgetown. The views outside are amazing and the pizza is delicious. We got the Florentine and the BBQ pizzas and they were amazing thin crust pizzas. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town.
