Bidrage med feedbackWas missing this spot during the initial pandemic shutdown. Happy to walk by this even after hitting up the farmers market and found them to have open seating outside on the patio. A delicious 98607 burger with tots, and Ruben with onion rings was just what the doctor ordered. All washed down with a peach sour and glass of Chardonnay. The hubby and I are happy campers right now. Great service and fantastic food for a reasonable price makes Mill City a winner!
We stopped by for lunch out on their patio after spending the morning hiking at Lacamas Lake. Big place inside with a small patio along the sidewalk. Solid selection of their own beers on tap. I had their Tropical Sour which was made with mangoes it was darn delicious refreshing. The Hubs had their Stout which was great, too, with a taste of chocolate caramel to it. Since we had gone out to breakfast just wanted a smaller lunch to tide us over until dinner we shared their French Dip Panini upgraded the sides to their onion rings since they beer-batter them using their own IPA. Both the sammie rings were very good. The sammie was on the small side in comparison to those we would get elsewhere I 'm not sure if all their sandwiches are like that or if it was just this particular panini. It was still plenty for one person to have as a meal and just right for us to share as a lighter lunch (well, as light as a melty grilled meat sandwich with onion rings can be, anyway... . Service was friendly and attentive and the food came out fairly quick.
We've been to this place a few times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. The Stuffed Mushrooms starter and 98607 Burger with Sweet Potato Tots are my husband's favorite. Mine has been the Clam Chowder (in a bread bowl) or the Classic Club Sandwich with Garlic Fries. They offer a beer Taster Tray for $7, including four 5oz tastes. There's plenty of street parking in downtown Camas as long as they aren't having one of their festivals...then it gets pretty crowded :
Mill City is such a great, easy and comfortable spot for lunch, dinner or any occasion. I love dropping in on a Friday mid-afternoon, right before the weekend hits. Since it's located right in the heart of Camas, it's awesome to pop in with friends or grab some food after work before heading home. I'm a big fan of their sandwiches, especially the turkey bacon panini and the chicken caprese panini. They are sooo good! They also have a bunch of burgers and I'm surprised I haven't even tried one of them yet. It's never too crowded when I've gone in and the staff is very friendly and attentive. In terms of beer, I believe they have a rotating selection of seasonals and ciders, though I could be wrong. I have had the Red Beard and Alpha Ale IPA a few times and have enjoyed both. For any families out there, Mill City has a kids menu! So while you're trying to figure out which beer to order, you can quickly place an order for chicken fingers or a grilled cheese to keep the kiddos calm, happy and busy. My kids also love looking through at the big brewery tanks below through their large glass window. I don't know why, but they just love starring down there and seeing the staff walk by haha! I'll take it! Mill City is definitely a nice feature to have in town. It's great to be able to grab a bite to eat and a beer to enjoy, without having to drive too far.
Our family recently went for a long hike along Lacamas Lake and found ourselves pretty hungry and in need of some refreshments. We stopped here to grab a beer and because the menu looked so good we ended up staying for an early dinner. I loved my beet salad! I had the chicken on top and I just loved how it was prepared. It was fresh and interesting. My hubby loved his lamb gyro that he ordered and I have to say that it was fabulous. This location is in the cute downtown part of Camas. The service was pretty good and it would be a great place to catch a game on tv. Definitely worth checking out!!
