Toni's Country Kitchen - Calumet

Another recommended place from a former local resident, Toni 's was second place on our patsy tour and almost tied for first! The authentic ingredients were worth the drive and it was the only restaurant to serve butter with the pasty, which is a game changer! The restaurant was full, the staff was very pleasant, and all of the food looked very, very good. You can smell the fresh baked goods from outside! A favorite!!

Food was great staff was awesome and friendly. Baked goods are to die for!!! Must bring cash for they do not except credit cards.

Consistently one of the best diners in the area. What it lacks in dining space it more than makes up for in service, food quality, and crazy low prices. I spent less than $11 for my meal and I got a whole breakfast; 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, a chunk of ham, 4 pieces of toast, and a helping of fried potatoes. And that was even with a drink!The food also tastes phenomenal. I've never had a bad experience. It's all cooked perfectly to order. And the service is fantastic. The ladies are all super nice and courteous. And the owner is a great guy. He'll often come talk to people and always has some great stories or something to share.The place is in a quiet spot and looks super unassuming. But don't let that fool you. Give this place a shot and you won't be disappointed. They have options for everyone so you'll get the amount of food that you need at super low prices compared to any other place in the area. Also, they only accept cash or checks. So make sure to have either on hand.
