What a wonderful gem of a place to find. A great host who is waiter and chef. For a one man show quick service. Browse at a selection of second hand books while you wait for your meal. The setting is beautifully arranged and as the name implies is in the gentle shade of Pepper Trees. The table is set with a linen table cloth and napkins, which is an unusual luxury these days. The food was delicious. A great time and lunch was had. Highly recommended. Note: drinks are not served so bring your own.

Eating a perfect Asian meal comprising of the best dumplings and Korean fried chicken I ever head in a unique local off the grid restaurant in South Africa, feeling as if Gary had us over in his house for lunch, was the most positively unexpected experience so far for our South Africa trip.
