Kinjo Sushi & Grill - Dalhousie

Never been to Kinjo because I thought they only had sushi, which I don't care. But they had many other articles that were excellent. I'm glad I'm trying. Excellent.

Three of us went for dinner to the Kinjo Sushi Grill, now open after they closed for a year during the Kovid. Very busy on a Saturday night. Many servers. The menu has changed a bit, but the food was very good. It'll be okay.

We just went today, during the pandemic and, of course, only 4 tables in the restaurant, and all side by side... even after I pointed out to the manager that the rest of the restaurant was empty....ok, let you eat with strangers and have... to take turns talking and God forbid some a sneeze, but at least the waitress didn't have to take too many steps... The manager told me that it's okay, right? I'm like if you gave a BIT, we wouldn't have had 6 other strangers for every lunch, so maybe not OKay!

I sat here with my dic asain friend. At first it was sketched by all fish, but as soon as I started to taste the rolls, it was very delicious. I enjoyed the Sapporo beer and the boat that wore the food at our tables

This was our first time at Kinjo for dinner over spring break! We were from out of town and looking for a good sushi restaurant for dinner. We came across Kinjo via Trip Advisor reviews. We were able to get in right away, service was...fast and food delicious. My only negative comment was that they stuck our family of four into a small table and we ordered a lot of food. We had to constantly move food from one plate to another just so we could fit the dishes/plates onto the table. We had asked for a larger table but the server said they were reserved for parties of 6 or more yet we saw parties of 2 to 4 at those larger tables. We went with another family and they sat separate from us. But because we knew each other, the server reminded us several times that a tip of 15% would be added to our tab because of the larger group. The service was very good and we would have happily tipped 20% but being reminded multiple times at the beginning and end of our service was a bit much. We ended only tipping the amount charged to the bill vs the 20% we would have tipped if it weren't for the multiple reminders. Aside from that, we had a great meal at the restaurant!
