Boxcar Cafe - Calgary

The first time in a1 cafe, and we were not disappointed. we started with a few delicious cocktails, which is a must because the list is so good. we had brought our own bottle of wine and the cafe was in order with it as they have a simple cork fee. then because the dinner menu is based on sharing, we had nice waitress help us in choosing and then timing the food to our table. but the biggest part of the night was our waitress to get to know at a friendly level, allegra (if this is the right writing) she was very professional, has great experiences to share and the restaurant well represented. we wish them well allgra, go exploring. we really recommend this cafe to dinate with friends, I do not think they will be disappointed. (they even have a coat check) that is a key to me. cheers kim and john

Great place great vibes. I want to die. skip the deconstructed “cheese cake” unless they like lemon balms. great experience overall and will be 100% back.

Eating was amazing. the room and the ambiente were beautiful. service and staff were perfect.

Food was great, service decent but they were really busy with the hockey game rush. Caught up by the time we left. Drinks are phenomenal, well thought up and expertly crafted. Food portions are not big at all, but everything was very tasty

Came here for lunch and the potatoes were amazing. Wasn’t a huge fan of the trout. The ambience and decor is beautiful.
