This restaurant was a real surprise. We stayed in town for a business trip to the wine fair Vinitaly and ending up here was coincidence but exceeded all expectations. Superb wine list. Great food. Nice and friendly service. It seemed this restaurant catered mainly for locals, at least it was not obvious adverted for tourists.I liked the 'family charme '. Thank you very much!

The restaurant shows off its 50 years history and it really have a good reason to. Having a meal at Renato 's is just something more than that, it 's a great experience that will bring you to discover the best seafood dishes you can eat in a (very) wide range. The owner, who also happens to be a sommelier, will always suggest you how to match what you will eat with an appropriate bottle of wine, chosen from the many that are stored in their underground cellar. Describing the pros of their dishes is a total waste of time: I would be very repetitive with terms like the best I 've ever eaten , pleasure for your senses , do they have God individually chosing fishes and cooking them in the kitchen? . The service is flawless and the elegant room grants you the comfort you deserve when tasting top class food.

We were looking for some relief from the usual pasta/ meat menus common in this area and we're delighted to find Renato which specializes in seafood. The dinner was excellent, oysters, scallops to start followed by sea bass in a salt crust and turbot in a potato she'll. regrettably we were to satiated to attempt dessert. Service by the English speaking owners was also first rate- attentive without being obtrusive. The wine list is extensive and like the food very fairly priced. We can recommend this restaurant and would certainly return if in the area again.

Il pesce è ben cotto ma sinceramente nulla di trascendentale, ho mangiato, in altri posti, pesce cotto in modo molto più curato e nei dettagli. Il prezzo è decisamente troppo alto e assolutamente non giustificato.
