Sagebrush Cantina - Calabasas

I had a great experience at lunch on Friday. the atmosphere at Sagbrush cantina is really cool. it almost feels like it's an old train station, with the big model train right at the entrance. there seemed to be traces for a model train to run through the restaurant, but it didn't run. the menu is a fairly large Mexican focused menu, with some American options as well. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, which this time were a bit overwhelming.

One of the most delicious Mexican food meals I've had while living out in California. The margaritas were fantastic, as well. The Sagebrush Cantina most definitely needs to be on your list of places to eat, if you're in Calabasas. There's even a cool wooden train that runs on a track around the entire restaurant. It's awesome; go check it out!

The food here is always great and the atmosphere here is a lot of fun on a great night. I strongly recommend trying this place out when you want some amazing food and a great time.

First we had to pay to park our own vehicle. The brunch buffet selection was sub par at best and the hot food was all cold. Our bill was $87.50, we wanted to pay with a visa gift card that has a $100 balance and they wouldn’t accept it because the bill was to close to the balance on the gift card WTH! We were so excited to have a nice anniversary meal and are beyond disappointed! We could have saved $100, stayed home and had a better experience ?

Sad- it’s almost impossible to be sad at a Mexican Restaurant. Well, our take out order was terrible. Honestly, I didn’t want to go as there are many other places nearby that offer much higher quality food. But we ended picking up from here. I hate to give bad reviews but there’s no excuse for brown guacamole- EVER!
