Ordere through Uber eats for first time .food was 2 hours late we spent £33.had half our order .phoned up several times during delivery to be told it’s 5 minutes away every time.was told by restaurant I would get £15 refund within 3 days.found out I should have complained to Uber eats within 2 days.they obviously knew this.won’t touch this restaurant or use Uber eats again .king balti are thieving lying cheats Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Service: 1
Popped in as had a 2 for 1 on my taste card. Mixed tandoori starter for 2 was great. Filled me up a bit too much so couldn't finish my mains, garlic chicken biriyani and a lamb makhani. After being a loyal customer every week, placed an order at 6.30pm, it’s now 9.00pm and no delivery. I phoned the restaurant was told to hold on a minute, 5 minutes later no return by the person that answered. Finally I hang up, I have then phoned back countless times but the phone has been put of the hook ignoring all customer calls. Appalling service and zero attempt to rectify or deal with customers issues. I want a refund! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Service: 1
Ive only started eating indian recently due to a pleasant experience at this restaurant with my family. The reason i don't normaly eat it is because i dont like physical chunks if onion/pepper ect, but when i went to this restaurant the curry was smooth apart from lumps of meat which i loved! When i questioned the staff they said thats how it always comes. I've since had about 5 or 6 deliveries in around 3 months, always the same, a few vindaloos madras etc it was great. Last night ordered food at 7pm for my wife and I, wanted something soonish because she had to be up at 04:40. It took 45 mins, (we live a 5 min drive away), and when it came there were whole peppers and onions in my vindaloo. When i phoned a woman apologised and said they'l send another one up straight away, but couldn't explain to me why there were indifferences in the food. 50 mins later i phoned because still no food! Then a call back from a man this time, he was asking what was the issue, and when i explained the above to him, it was like talking to a brick wall. Told him my wife wants to go to bed, he said the driver is on his way. It took another 15 mins for the vindaloo to come back, during this time my wife was in the kitchen microwaving the other stuff gone cold. When i tasted the replacement vindaloo there was no heat or flavour, just like water. Its as if they did it on purpose. I phoned the guy to tell him and eveything i said he was just arguing! I dont think im being unreasonable when i expect the food to be the same the 7th time as the previous 6? Ive had great vindaloos from there, super hot and smooth, so why this time all the stuff is whole? Then when my smooth one came there was zero heat? I just don't get why he couldn't understsnd my point? Needless to say i wont be going there again, mostly down to the way they handled the situation, and im gutted because i liked te food up until yesterday, i thought it was a safe bet.
