Cafe Marcel - Caen

The service was brusque. Decided to get coffee and dessert somewhere else. The burger was pretty good. The salmon was well cooked but the orange sauce should have been lemon. Why substitute for an inferior and less compatible flavor. The mention of asparagus is funny...as only the tiniest threads of asparagus were served with the salmon and it instead rested on a bed of peas with a few green beans which didn’t even get a nod in the description

I was staying around the corner and just happened to walk in. The staff welcomed the lost looking English man. They were very helpful. But it got better The food was amazing. So good in fact I went back 2 more times. If I’m ever...back in Caen again I will make my way back 10/10

Stopped by this restaurant before dinner one evening recently before the dinner hours started (1900-2200), and had drinks with a friend. Service was just ok, and when I looked at the menu for a possible dinner, we left and went to a different place. Didn't...really like the menu selections. variety would have been better. Nice, clean place, but again, staff not very attentive.

C'est la deuxième fois que j'y vais avec des personnes différentes mais le résultat est le même: j'adore et j'adhère!! Les plats sont bons et pas cher (j'avais pris fish and chips et goûté risotto du soleil puis thé gourmand et éclair marcel(très chocolaté)). Le personnel est jeune mais très bien formé. La deco est super. Bref un seul mot, c'est génial et ça va sûrement devenir mon rendez vous pour mes prochains repas autant en famille qu'entre amis

Seconde visite dans ce restaurant et nous sommes satisfaits tant par le menu que par le service. Nous y retournerons!
