Really good take away, always fresh and cooked well, reasonable prices but can be busy. Suggest that you call and order ahead. Recommend that you try it if you live in the area or passing through.

I've been going here for years now, food is always so good!! Chips are a tad bit too oily though for my liking but other than that, great friendly guy who works there! Atmosphere is a bit anxious-y when you're sitting there waiting.

Tried this place for the first time. The food was nice, but I was really disappointed with the portion sizes. Family pack-6 pieces of fish led me to thinking there were 6 whole pieces of cod (guy confirmed it was cod). When I got home, each piece was tiny, the size of a whiting. I got a family pack and a 2 piece pack together for 4 small kids and 2 adults and the kids were having cereal 20 min later.

Most staff are polite but food depends on the cook. For the best part the staff are polite and nice to talk to except a couple of young staff that obviously don't want to be there. The price and range is fine and I have had some great meals but at the same time I've had some really bad ones. It seems it depends on who is cooking the food and what experience thay have working a fryer. It is very dissapointing to get home only to discover your chips are just cooked and the batter on your fish is soggy or your calamari is overcooked and tough. This isn't my experience everytime but it is unfortunately a gamble.

Their serving size has dropped. The couple behind the counter have always been nice to customers from that I have seen.
