A&W Restaurant - Burns Lake

This restaurant offers delicious food and root beer. It is conveniently located and very accessible for individuals with disabilities.

Piping hot strong as you want coffee, a hot and tasty breakfast sandwich that makes you wish they served it all day long.

Stopped by here for breakfast while passing through on our way to Prince Rupert. Unfortunately service was very slow as it seemed the girl at the till was having trouble figuring out the till. (I shouldn't complain as she may be new). There was the usual coffee crowd in the restaurant which seemed to take up most of the seating. Food was okay as it was a breakfast special. Bathrooms could use a thorough cleaning as they weren't that clean. Smelt bad as well. Nothing great but it was breakfast.

This was one of a few places open after 9:00 p.m. and while it was apparent the staff had done some pre-cleaning for closing, they were very pleasant, efficient and even cooked my wife a grilled cheese sandwich (not a regular menu item)

We were driving between Smithers and Prince George and looking for somewhere to grab a quick lunch and spotted the A&W. We had seen several on our travels but until now had not eaten in one. The service was fast, as you would expect in a fast food restaurant, and friendly. Enjoyed the burgers washed down with a root beer.
