Mcdonald's - Burnaby

The customer service at this Austin Avenue location in Coquitlam, BC is one of the worst I have experienced. Firstly, the lady who took my order for a Happy Meal was so rude. Secondly, they did not give me a receipt for my purchase. Thirdly, when I got home, I found that the food was stale, especially the fries. Be cautious when dealing with this location as they lack professionalism, basic etiquettes, and good customer service. They might even give you rotten food, especially if it is for takeout.

For the past five years, this McDonald's in Coquitlam has remained the worst in town. My experiences here are consistently negative, whether I'm just picking up a drink or a snack from the drive-thru. The bathrooms are dirty and unpleasant. I now avoid this McDonald's altogether and opt to visit the one near Ikea instead.

Safe clean atmosphere to bring kids for some afternoon snack. The staff brought out the food was very friendly as well.

The food is good on some days, but the service is terrible. There are 12-year-olds with no experience in the kitchen, making me wait for 17 minutes for a single Big Mac while 20 other people receive their 3 10-piece McNugget meals. It's unbelievable.

Only ever used drive thru here so can’t rate atmosphere but the service of one particular employee gives this place a big ding. I go there regularly on weekends on my way to racing and I’ve gotten her multiple times and she is consistently either rude or just does not engage with you and sticks the debit machine out the window without even looking at you. I get that in service you deal with some tough customers sometimes and not everyone has good days all the time but this girl just seems like she has a problem with the world.
