Greenhouse Cafe Tavern - Burlington

So our experience started off okay. My sister in law and I both ordered fish and chips for our main course. We did share some appetizers, which were very good. Our waitress was doing okay. She didn't pay a lot of attention to us and I do know why....is because she had a table of 8 guys which seemed to be taking up most of her time. I started eating my dinner as did my sister in law. After a few minutes of eating our fish and chips she asked me if I tasted ammonia which I replied no but once I gave it the sniff test and I definitely smelled it. Not the end of the world....we sent it back to the kitchen and the waitress never even asked if we wanted something else. .... once again to busy with the other table. Both meals were taken off the bill. Overall I would give the whole experience three and a half stars. I will go back and try it again just not the fish n chips.

Good food! Gorgeous atmosphere and nicely decorated for the holidays. Looks like a hallmark movie. Only thing I’d say are the fries were very greasy. But my Reuben was excellent.

Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. Is a charming place that feels as if it belongs in the set of a hallmark movie.

It was the worst steak we have ever eaten. It definitely was not a ribeye. To bad because we have had this before and it was wonderful
