Bidrage med feedbackCame here for the first time to celebrate Father’s Day with my family of six. Never realized how cute Burlingame was. Anyway, I made ressies on Open Table and there were lots of available times, even for a busy day such as Father’s Day. Our server Sam was super friendly and very attentive to our needs…..extra ketchup, extra dressing, cocktails served up vs on the rocks; you name it, we asked for it. She was nothing but accommodating and awesome. You rock SAM! Food was good and the service was great, however the kitchen was backed up and understandable as it was Father’s Day. Sam made up for it by waiving our corkage fee which would normally be $20 (still pretty darn reasonable if you ask me). Didn’t take photos of all our meals, but I got as much as I could. Really liked the food drinks, ambiance, and service. I would definitely return again. Some notes: There is a bar with a TV; was able to catch the second half of the Giants game. Parking can be hard but just drive around. We went on Father’s Day AND there was a farmers’ market. Portions are a pretty good size.
Incredibly delicious food and friendly service!! The salmon was so flavorful, and my friend loved the risotto. Definitely recommended the salted caramel gelato for dessert!!
Excellent restaurant with modern American Mediterranean cuisine vibe. My coworker I went during lunch to celebrate my work Anniversary birthday. Definitely recommend to go after 1pm when all the lunch rush frm near by offices are done. We had semolina crusted calamari for starters, entree: Paella Grilled Scottish Salmon, were delicious. Dessert: Berry Panna Cotta Creme Brulee, it was so good not overly sweet. Their service was excellent, our server was really sweet, checked on us in between service. I really enjoyed their food, inside ambience was cozy, definitely would go back to try other items.
So I was in Burlingame this past Saturday evening. The initial plan was to go to a different restaurant, however they were having equipment issues and closed for the night. Thank goodness they did because we came across Farm and Vine. We walked into Farm and Vine with no wait but the indoor and outdoor seating were pretty full. Had the following Drinks: Winter cooler (non alcoholic) Pomegranate juice with ginger ale and lemonade A little strong on the lemonade but a good drink that didn’t have any alcohol. Starter: Burratta Cherry tomatoes with pea purée Flavors mixed well. The mozzarella complemented the purée. The balsamic wasn’t to vinegary Entree: Penne Chicken Not my plate but had a little bite Cream looked a bit runny but had the flavor. Penne was fresh (my tiny bite) The chicken looked juicy and I was told it was. Entree: Paella My plate It was a great dish! I enjoyed it until I was full. Took the rest home. All the ingredients were fresh. Full of flavor and I was happily surprised. I plan to come back because I was torn between the Paella and the Bouillabaisse. Since the Paella was great. I’m looking forward to coming back. *waiter dropped a mussel when putting my food in the togo box, he then asked if I wanted it out in my togo box* Not sure how I feel about that. Will I recommend? Yes completely. I am glad the other restaurant closed for the evening.
Very fresh. As a 'plant based ' eater, the freshness of the greens and mushrooms really stood out in the vegetable risotto. The brussel sprouts starter is slightly sweet. If you enjoy a spicy **** mary without the frills of extra garnish, Mehmet makes a good one. After I closed out, I received pleasant surprise in the form of a beautiful and yummy desert.
