Kokoroll Cafe - Burbank

Street parking only. We came here for lunch. Place was dead. The rolls were okay. Nothing special. But it was okay for the price. The boba drink, however, was way to sweet for 25% sugar. It was mostly sugar and boba no black tea flavor. Service was mediocre. The food was cold. Teriyaki bowl was cold. It didn’t seem like it was fresh. Safe to say, I’ll pass. I don’t recommend this place.

I don’t like it how they go to the back of the kitchen to make your açaí bowl. You can’t see what they’re doing in the back- it’s very sketchy. I can’t tell if they have gloves on or not. It’s not professional. These should be made in front of customers so customers can feel comfortable. Their açaí also has a pre-made taste/ feeling and it doesn’t taste fresh.

I go here multiple times a week for their handrolls. My favs are the chicken, spicy tuna, and shrimp temprura. Perfect size for a light lunch. Their poke bowls are also fantasticTried their acai once and i would skip it. Frozen like a rock. Never tried their teas but they look good!

The best poke in my book! They have options that most poke spots don't have like unagi (eel), blue crab rolls, spam rolls. This is the ONLY POKE SPOT THAT SERVES SHRIMP TEMPURA with your poke. The Boba teas here are also organic and compared to other poke spots, they're generous with their portions. Great service too!You get cash back rewards if you order online. Highly recommend!

Found this gem last week was back again this week. Flavors servings were consistent between my visits. I can ALMOST eat the entire bowl. No skimping on portion sizes. Inside is clean well maintained. I 'll definitely keep this place on my go to list when I 'm in the area. Street parking sucks but there is free parking in a near by lot.
