Sherpa Indian Nepalese - Buncrana

We dined in Sherpa last night it was fab! Can't recommend it enough, Dipak talked us through the menu gave us excellent recommendations in his lovely charismatic way...I can't wait for my next visit. I go here on a regular basis to enjoy the amazing food and friendly entertaining staff. The restaurant is very classy with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is so fresh everything is made from scratch and they also grind there own spices. The food is so fabulous and every time i leave I can't wait to come back! So keep up the amazing job depak sum staff x

We ate here last night and it did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing food, staff were excellent and the atmosphere was buzzing. Would highly recommend this place to everyone. Delicious can't wait to go again.

My friend and I decided to go to Sherpa last Thursday for lunch. We ordered different starters and mains from each other so we could sample the different treats on offer. Everything was absolutely tasty from the bhagis to the pakoras to the chicken Bhubaneswar to the korma. It was freshly made and delicious. We ended with coffee. For €14 for 3 courses I would highly recommend it. The waiter was very courteous and attentive and the interior is luxurious. I will definitely be back

I went on the opening night as I had been looking forward to it opening for some time and couldn't wait to try the food. We were welcomed in by Dipak and he went out of his way for us the entire night. We are all curry lovers and have eaten it all over the world so know good food from bad and Sherpa is up there with the best. I have been back 3 more times, the most recent for a takeaway and the food has been excellent each time. My friend has a nut allergy and Dipak recommended suitable dishes for her. Consistency is important and they have cracked it. Dipak remembered me on my second visit and asked after my brother who was with me on my first visit which was a nice touch. Highly recommend Sherpa. What a great addition to Buncrana.
