Don Carlos - Buenos Aires

Given by its own owners, this bodegón intends to recreate the homemade gastronomy of the old canteens of Lamouth. The dishes are homemade, prepared by Marta and Carlos, according to the specialty, where different options of pasta, fish and meat can be enjoyed. Excellent tuna mayonnaise, chorizo bife, albondigas and sorrentinos. The originality? there are two systems: the traditional a la carte or the 'Carlitos' system. In the latter, the owner himself decides your food from the entrance to the dessert..... No way!

We have lunch there today. I came back after 12 years. All happy. My wife found that what I was saying about the place was just like. My favourites: the spinach sandwiches, meat and desserts: bread pudding, flank, pears to wine and strawberries with cream and merengue. Thank you Juan Carlos and team!
