La Tequila - Buellton

I tried this place for the first time a few months ago and I was blown away by all the flavor in the food. I’m Mexican and very picky about how restaurants that serve Mexican food. This place has met my standards 110%. The salsas are amazing, service is great, and food is overall amazing. My go to is the crispy tacos that are super filling and the side dishes are so yummy as well. The prices are more than reasonable and service is fast and attentive. You get the sit down restaurant experience without having to pay the hefty prices for good service. My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant between Buellton and Santa Barbara.

Came here with our family if 5. All of us enjoyed our food! The portion size was perfect!They have a salsa bar filled with many sauces/condiments. Nice little eatery in town. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I was impressed the way they handled an insufferable guest that complained about being seated originally outside because he had an animal with him. They were very polite and accommodated him inside due to the fact they made it clear that no animals were preferred inside. We will be here again. Their salsa was incredible. PS. The guest mentioned he would leave a terrible review. I hope he sees this. Thanks for a good night La Tequila!

Hit all the marks for me I was surprised by how good the food was. Very nice complex flavors. Slow cooked meats, Spicy salsas, perfect guacamole. Definitely my new favorite stop for Mexican on this route!Food: 5/5

This place is, without a doubt, the best Mexican food in the Santa Ynez Valley. The quality of the ingredients are so good and it comes out in each dish. It’s a little pricier than some of the other spots, but it doesn’t break the bank, and because of the quality of the food, it’s worth it!Food: 5/5
