The Groove Train - Buderim

Really good food and a great anger of choices, friendly staff, really funny little place outside the kawana shopping center

I've been to Groove train several times and came back to Mother's Day Lunch. Again, my meal was amazing. I'm never disappointed with the quality or the portion sizes you get here. I definitely recommend this restaurant and... it is definitely up there to go as one of my favorites. I have tried a number of things on the menu now and am pleasantly surprised every time when the meal is just as good as all the others and made to the highest standard. Hats to the chefs. The staff was also friendly.

We were several times and without a doubt the best pizza I ever had, fresh and light and super taste. But the service is bad and so slow. 20 minutes to get our drinks. 30 minutes to get another bowl... 45 minutes to get our pizza. I had to give up the staff to get service. Beer came without glasses. The people of us waited for their drinks for 45 minutes and gave up and left after. Yes, it was Saturday, but the place was not full, and there seemed a lot of staff, which usually avoids eye contact with parasols as much as possible. This place would be excellent with a change of attitude.

We have been to this restaurant many times and have always received good service and food. Unfortunately, our experience this time was very disappointing. We were informed of a 30-minute wait for our food, which we accepted. However, we ended up waiting over an hour and 15 minutes with two children in our group, which we found unacceptable. Despite it being a holiday and the young employees doing their best, the service was clearly understaffed. We will not be returning to this restaurant and cannot recommend it.

We originally planned to just have drinks, but the welcoming and friendly staff made us feel so comfortable that we ended up staying for a meal. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back again.
