Bidrage med feedbackAirbnb host recommended this place for good pastries so we decided to try out a raspberry tart. I feel like anything in Belgium with fruits tend to be more expensive as it cost us 5.80 euros. It was quite large in size for a tart with plenty of raspberries on top, so that made the price more acceptable. It was pretty tasty and the raspberries seemed to be covered in some sugar. Sit in and take out price was the same.
Lovely hot chocolate. Slightly on the sweeter side but still good. The avocado toast was brilliant and so was the Gardeners Croquet. The ambiance was very relaxed, sip and byte at your pace. Our server was very kind to help us with the food options. Overall a great breakfast/brunch location in Brussels. I'd recommend!
Adorable little cafe, the bread was fresh, coffee was delicious and the service was great. Went twice while staying in Brussels!
The very first Le Pain Quotidien in the world! I stumbled upon this cafe whilst waiting for my friend in Brussels. It was quite cold outside so I went with the delicious strawberry tart and a fresh cup of tea. It was perfect and the service was very nice!
Grabbed a citron creme danish and a pain au raisin to go as a mid morning snack and loved them both fulfilling yet didn't feel too heavy! The citron was unexpected and not intense and we noticed that lemon based breakfast pastries were popular in bakeries here. In true Belgium style, they also offer complimentary cubes of dark/milk chocolate to try which was so good.
