Bidrage med feedbackThis place was unbelievable, they make all different type of pies. I got the salted caramel and a latte
We were staying in Manhattan and made a special trip to Brooklyn just for these pies. Our son and daughter in law turned us on to Four and Twenty several years ago when they bought the cookbook our daughter in law has perfected the caramel apple pie and it's a Thanksgiving tradition. We had the chocolate chess and the September special, Spiked Creamsicle, which is an orange custard topped with candied orange peel. They also have an amazing selection of tea, which is served in hand knotted bags. Oh, and we also bought the cookbook for ourselves!
Amazing place to lounge and enjoy slices of pie and drinks! staff was super helpful and nice.
I’m a sucker for the Bittersweet Chocolate Pecan Pie $44) by 4 20!My friend who is a Brooklynite introduced me to 4 20 and I think I’ve made more purchases than her ever since.I often place an order for pick up, since my current office is not too far away.During the pick up I’ll usually add the chive cheddar scone $3.50) which I find very yummy or a different type of slice $6) to try.I very much recommend and introduce friends/family/co-workers to the bittersweet chocolate pecan pie all the time, so I’m doing the same right now to whoever is reading this!
Nice coffee options; enjoyed the matcha latte I got; cortado also. ‘Scones’ (triangular American scratch biscuit style) were tasty.Have to admit I’m disappointed they didn’t offer any fruit pies at all for a summer day—a part from the black bottom lemon which is more of a custard offering. For the ‘best’ pie place in NYC I would expect peach, blueberry, rhubarb etc as an option, instead I see more wintery pies, which probably keep overhead consistently low.
