Bubby's - Brooklyn

Friendly, courteous server who made sure that we were fine throughout our stay. I had the Cheese Grits Breakfast which comes with eggs, sausage and toast. It was tasty and filling. I wanted to try the pancakes because they smelled so good but I knew it would be too much for me to consume. My coffee was cold which is why I didn't give a five star and the outside space was a little too much congested. The atmosphere was great: upbeat and not too noisy. It was hard to identify staff though because there was no way to identify them. The price is not bad for the location as well. I will definitely go back!

Before coming here we read about Bubby's New York that it is a beloved restaurant with locations in several neighborhoods across New York City. The restaurant is well-known for its comforting and classic American fare, including delicious breakfasts, hearty brunch options, and mouthwatering comfort foods. We really got what we read about it. As we guessed it will have a line outside, glad we went early in the morning which made our wait time shorter. The ambiance at Bubby's is warm and inviting, with a rustic and retro-inspired decor that adds to the overall charm of the dining experience. The atmosphere is perfect for gathering with friends or family, providing a cozy setting for a relaxing meal. The menu features a wide range of dishes, with highlights such as fluffy pancakes, fluffy buttermilk biscuits, flavorful burgers, and a variety of comforting desserts. The use of fresh and locally sourced ingredients ensures the quality and authenticity of the dishes. We literally saw the fresh ingredients coming to this place while we were standing in line !! The service is attentive and friendly. Overall, Bubby's New York is a delightful spot to enjoy classic American comfort food in a welcoming and homey setting. Whether it's for a leisurely brunch or a comforting dinner, Bubby's delivers a satisfying dining experience that keeps patrons coming back for more.

One of the best breakfasts I had my long time. Everything about this place is perfect. Sure, you have to wait in a long line, but the line goes quickly. Real quickly I have blueberry pancakes, I don’t think I’ve ever had better. The only comparison would be DOT coffee shop in Houston Texas. Recommend this place at least once in your lifetime, and it’s a place you’ll never forget. It’s a very busy area, and the activity is great when you’re sitting outside inside is awesome too, and everyone is extremely helpful. They are very attentive to requests and for recommendations. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s definitely new school and not my typical old-school type hang out. That’s why I’m saying you should at least check it out once, but it could become one of your favorites. The coffee was also amazing. If you’re by yourself, which I often am, sometimes they’ll seat you right away. You don’t always have to wait on line.

Great food and service with a good atmosphere. I had the Turkey reuben sandwich, which was top notch. The others in my party had the hot chicken sandwich and the mac and cheese. Both got top marks!

We came early during a weekday and experienced no wait at all. Service was friendly. We ordered the Nutella and berry jam pancakes, they were amazing! Definitely enough to share with friends as you cannot finish it by yourself! The chicken sandwich was also great. I’d give 4/5 for the food because on one occasion that I came for brunch i found a piece of steel wool in my pancake.
