Giuseppe's Cafe - Brook Highland

I've been to Sicily, I have had Calzone there many times. This is the closest I've had to their Calzone crust in the US. The basil is easy to pick out. Not so much on the oregano or rosemary tho. Very fresh, Giuseppe's is a must have. I'll definitely be back!

What a gem! Don't let the smaller hole in the wall exterior aesthetic fool you, legit fresh Italian food inside. I had a chicken prosciutto penne pasta, best pasta dish I've ever had. The bread served with the dish looked like the cheap heat serve dinner rolls that come in a tin, however those rolls were fresh, and had an amazing texture with no hint of preservatives in the taste. Highly recommend, thinking of moving closer so I can have it more often!

I ordered carry-out dinner for 3 from this amazing-smelling place, and we all loved the food. Stretch pants might be necessary if you're going to try to finish your plate of pasta--the food is quality and the portions generous. The red sauce tastes so vibrant, and the tiramisu is light delicious. I'll definitely return when I'm back in Birmingham.

Wonderful place. Delicious food and friendly staff. They always make you feel welcomed. Best pizza and spaghetti and meatballs in town.

It's a small place with little parking on the street. You need a reservation unless your getting it to go. They have everything from pizza to all the different pasta dishes. They serve wine and beer but no hard liquor. It's not cheap but it's not the most expensive either.Parking: It's first come first served. A small lot and free parking on the street. It's across the street from a park and in a residential area. Well lit, outdoor dining as well.
