I was one person, and tip was already included in the bill. They don't tell you that. Watch out for this. The sweet and sour pork pieces were too fatty. Service was fine.

It was more delicious than I expected!!! Pork chop and crab dish highly recommended!!!

They automatically apply an 18% tip (after tax mind you) on all orders. This place used to be delicious for the price, but now it's overpriced for the quality.

I really enjoyed Hop Kee! I came in from Anthony Bourdain's recommended food map. The food was fantastic and probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. We had the Beef Lo Min, Spicy Beef Chow Fun, Pork Chop Peking Style, Roast Pork Fried Rice, and Roast Duck Wonton. We all rate: 1. Spicy Beef Chow Fun (phenomenal, please get this) 2. Roast Pork Fried Rice (another big recommendation) 3. Pork Chop Peking Style (delicious, recommendation from waiter) 4. Roast Duck Wonton (amazing duck, wonton soup is normal but wonton soup is just standard) 5. Beef Lo Min (good, not spectacular).The restaurant was a hole in the wall under the basement, which to me, made it an even cooler experience. The server was rude but helpful, and I'm sure it was part of the act to make everything authentic, which made the experience better. However, I was not too fond of the fact that there was a mandatory tipping of 18% at the end of the bill. However, this place probably got more hype than other really good places because of Anthony Bourdain. Great experience, would definitely visit again!

The best Hong Kong style chiness food on the continent. Egg rolls; roast duck chow fon; squid w/spicy black bean sauce; jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon all superb! Bring cash. NO CCS accepted. But worth every penny. Get there before 6.
