Cilantro Nyc - Broad Channel

Very slow service, clearly short-staffed, mediocre food, and nickel and dime charges for credit card use, chips on the table, some extra cheese ... how this place has lasted so long is beyond me.

The Paella was so good omg. The mango mezcal margarita was also amazing. Great food and service.

Very bland basic food, does not justify the price at all. Can find much better Mexican food for half the cost easily. Even disregarding the prices, they have no chips and salsa and no side of rice or beans with the fajitas, which were cooked pretty poorly (we had the steak), so the price is unjustified even more. Gave us both stomach aches too. Not great

The restaurant is cute and the food is solid. The service however is just really lacking, slow and inattentive, overcharged on the special of the day even though ther was a sign advertising it's special price (which they remedied after we noticed the sign walking out).In a pinch I'd go back or order delivery, but wouldn't recommend it for a nice meal, especially when there are other better Mexican restaurants near by. Absolutely horrendous… mixer margaritas served in a water glass, followed by stale chips and salsa. Enchiladas were inedible to say the least. Much better Mexican restaurants on the east side. Save your time.
