Bluestone Lane Venice Beach Café

I?m super excited that a Bluestone opened near me! The cappuccino was pleasant and the BLATE was spectacular. The items were right on time when we went over to pick up. When we dined in, the QR code on the tables made the ordering process very quick and efficient. The food was cooked to perfection and iced tea was wonderful with the river-side breeze.

An amazing spot to come for all day brekkie or brunch. Come in, take your seat indoor or out, use your phone to scan the QR code on the table you choose, order from the site and the waitresses take care of the rest. Food is well portioned and just right if you come with an empty stomach. Dining plates are SO CUTE! Will definitely be my go to spot when I'm in the area.

Great employees, extremely pleasant. However, system at this location needs to be reconfigured. I think they were overwhelmed and needed more help. Food and drink to go was okay. Bread was a bit burnt and super stale and tea was diluted but I will revisit and try a dine in experience and review once more. 2.5 stars for meal 4 stars for employees being extremely pleasant and sweet.

I make the mistake of keep going back but now I?m done. Ordered delivery of the burrito and extra wedges. Each time I?ve gone I noticed that the wedges are undercooked. I put a request for them to be well done and then received wedges that were not even cooked. They were completely raw and were still frozen. See the photos attached. So disappointing. As an Aussie myself it?s a shame this place is now off the list to support.

Ate here twice during our stay in NYC as it was so nice. I had the smashed avocado with feta and poached egg. My niece had the scrambled egg and said it was the best she?d ever had! The staff were lovely and pleasant and explained how to order via the app. The place was very clean and fresh. Add this to your places to eat if you?re ever in the Battery Park area!
