Sun Sun Chinese Aspley - Brisbane

We stopped in here one night after just buying our new house. The owners were so lovely and accommodating with getting us a table. The food came out quickly and was so fresh. The dishes all tasted fantastic too! The lady owner even got us a bowl of steamed broccoli for my toddler who wouldn't eat anything. We've found a new local!

Whenever we visit this restaurant, the staff member who takes our orders is consistently kind and friendly, engaging in conversation with us. The food is consistently delicious and served promptly. We will definitely make this our go-to option for takeout.

We frequent Sun Sun regularly due to the high quality food and its convenience as our local spot. My husband, who is of Chinese Mexican descent, has tried a lot of Chinese food, and there are a few standout dishes at Sun Sun including the delicious steamed Dim Sim, the Sun Sun Special Pork Ribs, and the amazing Salt n Pepper Fried Tofu. The restaurant is family-owned, with reasonable prices. Takeaway orders are always ready quickly and piping hot. Sun Sun is definitely one of our favorite spots to dine.

My partner and I are regulars at this restaurant as we live nearby. Although most good Chinese restaurants are located in the south side of Brisbane, we were pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem on the north side. Being Chinese ourselves, we know what authentic Chinese cuisine should taste like, and we can confidently say that Sunsun is one of the best Chinese restaurants in north Brisbane. Our go-to appetizer is the Sang Choi Bow, where minced pork or chicken is wrapped in lettuce. Sometimes we also order the Fried Mix Entree, which includes a variety of items such as wontons, spring rolls, or prawn chips. For the main course, my favorite is the Sunsun special pork rib - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Other dishes that I highly recommend include the Shredded Beef Peking Style, Peking Duck, Shang tung chicken, and sizzling Mongolian Beef. My partner, who loves seafood, enjoys dishes like the deep-fried whole flounder fish, Moreton Bay Bugs, and scallops with ginger and shallots. While the dessert options are limited, the fried ice cream is a great choice. The service at Sun Sun is excellent, with friendly waitstaff and typical Chinese restaurant decor. We are delighted to have such a great restaurant within walking distance for both dine-in and takeout options!

Been going to Sun Sun for about 10years now. The food is always great, as is the service. Cindy and her staff always make you feel welcome. I take all my friends there.
