Salisbury Hotel Motel - Brisbane

Today was a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We encountered issues such as a lack of water and functioning toilets, as well as the unavailability of the popular fish and chips dish. To add to our confusion, my mother received steak with chips instead of what she had ordered. My aunt ordered the fish of the day, which came served on a bed of curry rice with snow peas. Unfortunately, the accompaniments were not listed on the menu, leading to some disappointment. I decided on the braised brisket with grilled asparagus, Waldorf salad, and salted walnut crumb. Despite sounding appetizing, the brisket was dry and tough, the asparagus was overcooked, and the salad lacked walnuts that were mentioned in the description. Additionally, there were no walnut crumbs as promised. To make matters worse, there were no beverages or coffee available due to the water issue. I informed the waitress about the poor quality of the brisket.

:The recently renovated Hotel Salisbury offers a fantastic ambiance, delicious food, and wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed two delicious pizzas and drinks, and were impressed by how friendly the young, local staff were. Highly recommended.

I recommend trying the sportsman's bar for a quick and casual meal. Be sure to order either the steak or steak sandwich - both are delicious options. This restaurant has a variety of menu items to choose from and is family-friendly.

Visited daughter at Griffith Nathan Campus. Good clean quiet rooms. Nice hot shower. Close to shops, McDonald's for breakfast. Great value, will be back.

The food was beautiful and staff went above and beyond to cater for my dietary needs. Next time I need to go down to that area I will definitely go there again.
