The Gables - Brighton

What a lovely place to have an elegant quiet dinner. The flavors of the meals was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and courteous. Timing of the appetizers main was well delivered. Relaxed and enjoyed the meal without feeling rushed. We will be back in January recommend it to family friends. Parking: Very easy access plenty of parking

My husband & I spend a night in Belleville, Ontario June 2017. We were looking for a fine dining experience..We had a quick look at TripAdvisor and found this listing. With a short drive from Belleville to Brighton we headed over to check out The Gables Restaurant and it was a delightful experience. The service was great the the food delicious. This place is a must on your Fine Dining experience. Prices $$$$ and worth it.

We had the opportunity to visit The Gables Saturday night for dinner. What a fabulous experience. An older original home in the area converted to a small, intimate restaurant. The selection for dinner was just enough to satisfy anyone's needs. We had the veal schnitzel, salmon, and duck breast. Everyone enjoyed their food. The service was superb, food was piping hot when it was served. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last.

We were 10 ladies on an out-of-town book group visit. Our table was waiting for us in one of their private dining rooms and Inga filled our drinks order perfectly. We all ordered something different from the menu and none of us were disappointed. The soup was seasoned just right and the salads were artfully presented and tasty. I ordered the home-made pasta with shrimp. Nicely cooked pasta and the shrimp was done perfectly. The family were delightful to chat to....and bookies, like us. We had some great discussions on the 'latest reads'. Highly recommended. Reservations a must.
