Mancino's Pizza Grinder's - Brighton

I had never been to this restaurant before, so I was unsure of what to expect. Yesterday, we celebrated my son's 4th birthday in Brighton and decided to give it a try.

When I called to place an order, the phone rang several times before someone finally answered, then promptly hung up on me. I called back and asked if I could place my order.

Today, I wanted to try something different at Mancino's that was not on their menu. I was craving a cheesy deep dish pizza.

A couple of friends recommended this place to me and said that they had great pizzas and grinders (their sandwiches/subs). I ordered the Chicken Club Grinder and two of my buddies ordered the Spicy Italian Grinder and the Cowboy Steak Grinder, I got a Half and they got Fulls. We all did a sandwich exchange and loved every single one of them; my favorite being the Cowboy one. Mancino's also has great pizza. For the first time I tried pineapple and green pepper Pizza and it was a delicious combo of flavors. The crust was easy to bite into but not soggy, the sauce was tasty and not runny, and the cheese was mouthwatering and not too greasy. Overall, a great experience and a great place to either dine or takeout!

Sandwiches here are huge. Half is plenty for 1 person. I recommend the Spicy Italian.
