The Indian Tavern - Brierley Hill

My starter was lovely as was my main course, which was chicken tikka masala. However the main was unlike any masala I have had before. Given my friend's Dad invented it, I know what should be in it. There seemed a number of ingredients missing. My dessert of chocolate cake was OK but it was crying out for ice cream or cream but I received just the cake. Nothing else. No cream or ice cream. It was dry. Now this restaurant is established, it must start to do better.

The food here is lovely especially the vegetarian options. Not many restaurants offer soya but this is one of the few places that does. Will definitely be going back.

Amazing food! Service was great, they really make you feel looked after. Really good cocktails too!

A different experience , service not great as we waited to order drinks but overall very good food in a modern lively tavern .

Everything was okay.. that’s it, just okay. one of our curries, chicken tikka masala, tasted like hienz tomato soup. Music in the restaurant was very loud felt like we were shouting across the table to talk. Had a small black hair in our naan bread. Wouldn’t of wanted to paid for what we got, wasn’t particularly hot either. You order through the app which is handy especially during Covid and staff were polite but we had no real service no one came to check on the meal or ask how it was and we when our plates were taken it was a bit awkward as there was no service or staff engagement so we just left afterwords we felt like we were waiting around and didn’t want to leave abruptly or come across rude. We were only there for an hour it felt awkward but still friendly.
