Mai Mai - Bremen

I love Mai Mai it's the ultimate comfort food. When I'm staying at the Courtyard hotel near the station and I want a quiet evening on my own, I always like to pick up a take-away from Mai Mai prawns with chilli and...basil and a bottle of Becks. All for under euros. Freshly cooked whilst you wait.

Stopped at the station. Lots of food outlets. Decided to try the noodles with fried chicken in a lunchbox to take away. Hot delicious food and more than enough for two of us for a snack. So reasonably priced also. This named such a change...to sausage or bread rolls

Whenever I'm staying in Bremen and don't have a dinner appointment, I eat at Mai Mai or get a take away. The staff are quick and friendly and the food is spectacular. My personal favourite is the prawns with chilli and basil (garnelen chili basilikum)....It costs euros but it's one of the most expensive dishes lots of cheaper options available. Portions are generous and if you can manage a starter as well, the Tom Yum soup is spectacular too.

Great food that is quickly prepared and yet tastes very authentic and offers a great value for money. ideal for travellers who do not have much time to eat at a stop in the train station. also available for takeaway.
