Bidrage med feedbackAmbience It's a VFW hall. It has a bar and plenty of seating with a 1970's vibe as that was probably the last time it was remodeled. Not a dig, but don't expect RUE152! Service is what it is. When they're busy, table service is reliant on VOLUNTEERS. They get tips, that's it. In this time good help is hard to find and volunteers must be incredibly hard to get. Give them a break and be patient. They're doing the best that they can. Once you order your food, it does show up quickly. Food is always hot, very tasty, generous portions and it's a bargain by todays standards. Since we discovered this place we have had several very good meals there, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We LOVE this place and hopefully we'll see you there for a beer and a burger...or maybe the fish fry?
Aweet people I was very humble at the close tie that these veterans had for each other?
The work done by brian shumaker clint town and others behind the scenes has made an enormous task to create events that promote the community and their families. if they have facebook, please follow bremen indiana events or follow them bremen wfw. post 8972. they have daily dinner specialties cooked by the new cook. bingo on Tuesday and just began dancing line on Wednesday. there are other events, but too many to mention. thanks to all our servicemen for our freedom!
I was enjoying the music from the band, but the children running around and screaming were quite bothersome. I don't mind kids, but they should be under the supervision of adults. I went to the restaurant to unwind and listen to the band, but unfortunately, I couldn't do so because of the noisy children.
The food and the company were enjoyable. You can't go wrong by supporting your local VFW and American Legion posts.
