El Zarape - Bowling Green

Food was great, easy parking lot for a truck and camper. They add 3.5 percent for using credit cards.

El Zarape is a staple in the restaurant landscape in Bowling Green. Great food, always quick and hot when brought out. Servers are always kind and attentive. Always high on my list of places to go when in BG! If you’re into margaritas, they are a must! Bottomless chips and salsa never hurt anyone! Parking: Lots of parking around the restaurant, they are located in the primary location in a strip mall, so no shortage of parking Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome! Plus a kids menu and coloring sheet and crayons, the kids are kept busy.

The food was delicious at El Zarape. I had the carnitas and they were very flavorful and moist. The rice was also amazing! The service was thorough. The food came out pretty quick. Our server was very kind to us. The atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurant was very clean. I definitely recommend this place.

My food was bland. The best part was the rice beans. The tamale and the enchilada was mediocre at best. My son's burrito he ordered had onions and green peppers in it (which had no mention of them on the listed item on the menu when ordering. He had to request a new one without the onions and green peppers and showed the waitress that it was not listed as having green peppers and onions. Waitress was very kind and understanding and said she would let management know.
