Double Dogs Chow House Bowling Green

This sports bar with a cute dog theme is a fun spot to enjoy a nice beer selection and watch a game on one of their many TVs. My husband and I have visited a few times and have always had a good experience. The loaded hot dogs and burgers we've tried were tasty, with a standout being the Breakfast Burger topped with an egg. We appreciate that they serve Hebrew National dogs. Portions are generous, so we found that ordering appetizers was unnecessary. Be sure to add fries to your order, as they do not come automatically with burgers or hot dogs. While the service can be hit or miss, we will definitely be back when we're in the area.

This pub is great. I always make a point to stop by when passing through Bowling Green. They have a fantastic selection of pub food and craft beers on tap. It's a perfect spot to catch a sports game too.

Decent Appetizers. Went with a group of 6 and just had drinks and appetizers--not bad and the service was young but friendly enough. Nice wings.

Great Place. I have been coming to Double Dogs for about 3 years now and have always been satisfied. They have great drink specials and happy hour deals and their food is almost always excellent (a little greasy occassionally). Warning: it can get very loud in here during game days/nights so if you plan on taking your grandmother out for a meal I probably would consider going somewhere else. I usually sit at the bar and the service has always been good, the few times I have sat at a table the service was good too. They recently went up on their prices (and I am almost certain reduced portion sizes) BUT I still consider it fairly priced for what you get (especially specials/happy hour). Definitely recommended.

Lula Bell's Chicken Sandwich. Splurge for the extra to add bacon and you'll have the best grilled chicken sandwich in BG.
