Mariposa - BOW

We've been here for years for the Taco. Recently, they added some more amazing decisions to the menu. The tamale is delicious as the gorditas, couple with fresh horchata and you are for a great lunch. The new owners are great and their cooking skills are amazing.

We visited Mariposa in Edison on Saturday afternoon. We sat outside in her garden seat. We ordered Mol and Gorditas and a wet Burrito plate. We ordered tempache to drink. The food was tasteful. The Gorditas were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle - they have a big bite. The fruit was fresh. The tempache was made from pineapple juice, orange juice, mango and cinnamon over ice when I really remeber. Traditionally I think Tempache was a fermented drink, In not sure this was, but it was good. If a good mixed salsa is important to you, you will also find it here. My only complaint would be that my hot food wasn't hot. The service was good. The seating was great for summer outdoor dining. The food was really good. We're coming back!

What an amazing experience and some of the best Mexican food I had. The Burrito pollen were delicious. Our entire group ate in silence and ended with a “my law that was good”! It really hits the point. Thanks Mariposas lindas!

Delicious, interesting, healthy Vegi option. The order came out quickly even though they were busy. Great space with spread out outdoor seating. Really nice staff. Can't wait to go back!

We had the breakfast burritos. $7. We had the chorizo and the veggie. It was yummy. Not too salty. The salsas were the green, red and habanero. The salsas were yummy and spicy. These burritos are not very big but the tortillas are handmade and fresh. We took everything to go. I think it was worth it.
